Taxonomy
Baeomorpha ovatata was named by Yoshimoto (1975). Its type specimen is CNC-77a (coll 13548), an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Cedar Lake (CNC 1963 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in Canada.
