Taxonomy
Trichoneura (Trichoneura) canadensis was named by Krzemiński and Teskey (1987). Its type specimen is CNC 19078, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Cedar Lake (CNC 1963 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in Canada.
It was recombined as Trichoneura (Burmania) canadensis by Kopeć et al. (2023).
