Pepsinites contentus

Taxonomy
Cryptochilus contentus was named by Theobald (1937). Its type specimen is Nimes. Museum Ni 56, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is CĂ©las, Gard (Museum Marseille collection), which is in a Priabonian lacustrine marl in France.

It was recombined as Pepsinites contentus by Rodriguez et al. (2017).
