Taxonomy
Mycetophila pallipes was named by Heer (1856). It is a compression fossil.

It was recombined as Epicypta pallipes by Förster (1891) and Johannsen (1909); it was recombined as Allodia pallipes by Theobald (1937) and Oliveira and Amorim (2021).
