Plecia luctuosa

Taxonomy
Protomyia luctuosa was named by von Heyden and von Heyden (1865). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Krantz Bonn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Plecia luctuosa by Theobald (1937), Statz (1943) and Evenhuis (1994).
