Taxonomy
Permopsyllidium mitchelli was named by Tillyard (1926). It is an impression. Its type locality is Belmont (Mitchell 1922 coll), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Permopsyllidium.
