Taxonomy
Anomaloscytina metapteryx was named by Davis (1942). Its type specimen is AM F39792, a hindwing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Warner's Bay, Belmont (AMF coll), which is in a Changhsingian pond chert in the Croudace Bay Formation of Australia.
