Hakelocaris vavassorii
Taxonomy
Hakelocaris vavassorii was named by Garassino (1994). Its type specimen is MSNM i12248, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Haqel (MSNM collection), which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal carbonate in Lebanon. It is the type species of Hakelocaris.
