Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
H. E. Hughes 2010The following diagnosis is based on that of Thomas (1978, p. 40), emended to allow for the variable position of the occipital node: proetine with glabella with deep S1 defining prominent L1; lateral occipital lobes typically present. Preglabellar field, if present, shorter (sag.) than anterior border; lateral cephalic margin commonly incurved at base of genal spine. Thorax of 9–10 segments. Pygidium without border; axis with 5–8 rings, pleural areas with 3–6 pairs of pleural ribs.
