Moravocoryphe was named by Pribyl and Vanek (1978) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi-u Sepkoski's reference number: 1106]. It is not extant. Its type is Eodrevermannia kettneri.
It was assigned to Eodrevermanniinae by Chlupac (1994); to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002).
