Mongolobittacus daohugouensis
Taxonomy
Mongolobittacus daohugouensis was named by Petrulevičius et al. (2007). Its type specimen is NIGPAS 133709, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Mongolobittacus.
