Taxonomy
Paradechenella was named by Richter (1912) [Sepkoski's age data: D Emsi-u D Give Sepkoski's reference number: 421,1106]. It is not extant. Its type is Dechenella tchernyshewi.
It was assigned to Dechenellinae by Zhou et al. (2000); to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
