Taxonomy
Praedechenella was named by Maximova (1953) [Sepkoski's age data: D Sieg D Emsi-u Sepkoski's reference number: 1106]. It is not extant. Its type is Praedechenella liniclivosa.
It was assigned to Proetinae by Zhou et al. (2000); to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
