Taxonomy
Ademosyne punctuada was named by Martins-Neto and Gallego (2006). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PULR-I 309, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Picos Gemelos (5th cycle), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - large claystone in the Los Rastros Formation of Argentina.
