Cretaceoripidius burmiticus

Taxonomy
Myodites burmiticus was named by Cockerell (1917). Its type specimen is BMNH In.19092, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Swinhoe collection, BMNH), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Cretaceoripidius.

It was recombined as Ripiphorus burmiticus by Kaupp et al. (2001); it was recombined as Cretaceoripidius burmiticus by Falin and Engel (2010), Batelka et al. (2016) and Batelka et al. (2018).
