Sevillia was named by Weller (1936) [Sepkoski's age data: C Bash C Step-l]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Proetidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); to Proetida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Ditomopyginae by Lerosey-Aubril and Feist (2012).
