Melqartitermes myrrheus

Taxonomy
Melqartitermes myrrheus was named by Engel et al. (2007). Its type specimen is AMNH L-Iso1, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Jezzine (AMNH collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon. It is the type species of Melqartitermes.
