Taxonomy
Poteriocrinites clarkei was named by Williams (1882) [Holotype is in the New York State Museum paleontology collection.]. Its type specimen is 458 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Quantoxocrinus clarkei by McIntosh (2001).
