Taxonomy
Sogdoblatta similis was named by Martynov (1937). Its type specimen is KK I 18, a tegmen (basal fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Kyzyl-Kiya, which is in a Pliensbachian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in Kyrgyzstan.
