Cretonomyia pristina

Taxonomy
Cretonomyia pristina was named by McAlpine (1973). Its type specimen is CAS 250 (CNC 12920), an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Cedar Lake (CNC 1963 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in Canada. It is the type species of Cretonomyia.
