Taxonomy
Adelohelea glabra was named by Borkent (1995). Its type specimen is CAS 530, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Cedar Lake (CNC 1963 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in Canada. It is the type species of Adelohelea.
