Carabites vitimensis

Taxonomy
Carabites vitimensis was named by Ponomarenko (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 3064/871, an exoskeleton (without head, prothorax, and legs), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
