Zholsuchus procerus
Taxonomy
Zholsuchus procerus was named by Nesov et al. (1989). Its type specimen is CCMGE 381/12457, a partial skull (Fragment of premaxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dzharakuduk II (general), which is in a Turonian/Turonian delta plain sandstone in the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan. It is the type species of Zholsuchus.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Storrs and Efimov (2000).
