Taxonomy
Protoblattinopsis stubblefieldi was named by Laurentiaux (1953). Its type specimen is BU 687, a forewing (left forewing missing apex & base), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Deepfields, which is in a Westphalian B delta plain horizon in the Brooch Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Protoblattinopsis.
