Pneumatoraptor fodori

Taxonomy
Pneumatoraptor fodori was named by Osi et al. (2010). Its type specimen is MTM V.2008.38.1., a limb element (Nearly complete left scapulacoracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Iharkút mine, Bakony mountains (Unit 1), which is in a Santonian crevasse splay claystone/sandstone in the Csehbánya Formation of Hungary.

A. Osi et al. 2010Pneumatoraptor fodori can be diagnosed on the basis of a large, circular pneumatic foramen ventral to the coracoid foramen (2 mm in diameter) that opens towards the coracoid tubercle and is also in connection with the hollow scapular blade.
