Taxonomy
Decadocrinus pachydactylus was named by Laudon (1936). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Univ. Iowa 1997. Its type locality is 2 miles south of Brandon, which is in a Givetian marine limestone in the Cedar Valley Formation of Iowa.
