Taxonomy
Decadocrinus spinulifer was named by Laudon (1936). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Univ. Iowa 1996, a calyx. Its type locality is Quarry at Linwood, which is in a Givetian marine limestone in the Cedar Valley Formation of Iowa.
