Taxonomy
Glypheopsis sanctaecrucis was named by Collins (1969). It is not extant. Its type locality is Annopol on the Vistula, which is in an Albian marine sandstone in Poland.

It was recombined as Trachysoma sanctaecrucis by Collins (1969) and Schweitzer et al. (2010).
