Eomonorachus was named by Delo (1935) [Sepkoski's age data: O Llde O Cara-m]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Eomonorachinae by Ludvigsen and Chatterton (1982); to Pterygometopidae by Clarkson et al. (1977) and Jell and Adrain (2002); and to Phacopida by Sepkoski (2002).
