Pseudoglyphea gigantea
Taxonomy
Pseudoglyphea gigantea was named by Garassino and Teruzzi (1993). Its type specimen is MSNM i10678/9, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ponte Giurino, Valle Imagna (MSNM collection), which is in a Sevatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Argilliti di Riva di Solto Formation of Italy.
