Taxonomy
Hoploparia bennetti was named by Woodward (1900). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Comox River (Bennett collection), which is in a Santonian/Maastrichtian marine horizon in Canada.
It was synonymized subjectively with Linuparus vancouverensis by Feldmann and McPherson (1980).
