Taxonomy
Pelorisca connectens was named by Popov and Shcherbakov (1991). Its type specimen is PIN 3288/436, a tegmen (tegmen clavus missing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Madygen, PIN collection 3288, Madygen (SW area), which is in a Ladinian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Madygen Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
