Taxonomy
Cretevania concordia was named by Rasnitsyn and Jarzembowski (1998). Its type specimen is BMB 018510/1, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Old pit, Clockhouse Brickworks, which is in a Hauterivian lagoonal sandstone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
