Angarosphex parvus

Taxonomy
Cretosphex parvus was named by Darling (1990). Its type specimen is AMNH 43264, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato (AMNH collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.

It was recombined as Angarosphex parvus by Rasnitsyn and Jarzembowski (1998), Zhang et al. (2018) and Jon et al. (2019).
