Pompilopterus difficilis

Taxonomy
Pompilopterus difficilis was named by Rasnitsyn and Jarzembowski (1998). Its type specimen is BMNH In.59222, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Swanage, Lulworth Formation (NHM collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
