Taxonomy
Bembidion (Archaeophilochthus) christelae was named by Ortuño and Arillo (2010). Its type specimen is MCNA 13931, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, MCNA collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Bembidion (Philochthemphanes) christelae by Schmidt and Michalik (2017).
