Meiconodon lii

Taxonomy
Meiconodon lii was named by Kusuhashi et al. (2009). Its type specimen is IVPP V14515, a mandible (Fragment of left lower jaw with three molariforms), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fuxin city area, which is in an Aptian/Albian alluvial fan coal in the Fuxin Formation of China. It is the type species of Meiconodon.
