Hakusanobaatar matsuoi
Taxonomy
Hakusanobaatar matsuoi was named by Kusuhashi (2008). Its type specimen is SBEI 1736, a tooth (isolated right lower incisor, left I2, left and right M1, fragmentary left upper jaw with I3, and P1 to P5, and fragment of right lower jaw with p3 and p4 (all ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaseki-kabe (facies III), Shiramine, which is in a Barremian mire/swamp mudstone/sandstone in the Kuwajima Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Hakusanobaatar.
