Sinobaatar xiei

Taxonomy
Sinobaatar xiei was named by Kusuhashi et al. (2009). Its type specimen is IVPP V14491, a partial skull (Partial skull including maxillae with right (P1-M2) and left (P1-P5 and M2) dentitions, fragment of left premaxilla with I2 and I3, damaged right basicranial re), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fuxin city area, which is in an Aptian/Albian alluvial fan coal in the Fuxin Formation of China.

Kusuhashi et al. 2009Lower p4 having eight to nine serrations; P5 having only three cusps arranged anteroposteriorly; P1 to P3 without distinct posterior cingula; P4 cusp formula 2:4; M1 cusp formula 4:4; M2 cusp formula 3:4. Differing from Sinobaatar lingyuanensis in cusp formula of P4 and P5. Differing from S. fuxinensis in lack of distinct posterior cingulum on P1 to P3 and cusp formula of M2.
