Taxonomy
Paradoxothyris cyclis was named by Xu (1978). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zigasi, Jomda County, which is in an Alaunian carbonate limestone in the Bolila Formation of China. It is the type species of Paradoxothyris.
