Minysphenia conopia
Taxonomy
Minysphenia conopia was named by Grant (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 424996, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM 518q, Grapevine Canyon, Sacramento Mountains, which is in a Gzhelian carbonate limestone in the Holder Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Minysphenia.
