Taxonomy
Cylicosmilia leganyii was named by Kolosvary (1956). It is not extant. Its type locality is Cseres hill, Noszvaj, which is in an Eocene carbonate limestone in Hungary.

It was recombined as Parasmilia leganyii by Wells (1956).
