Taxonomy
Oncopareia klintebjergensis was named by Jakobsen and Collins (1979). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Klintebjerg, which is in a Selandian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Lellinge Greensand Formation of Denmark.
