Tupus gracilis
Taxonomy
Typus gracilis was named by Carpenter (1947). Its type specimen is MCZ 4818, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Midco Locality 12, which is in an Artinskian lacustrine lime mudstone in the Wellington Formation of Oklahoma.
It was recombined as Tupus gracilis by Brauckmann and Zessin (1989) and Nel et al. (2009).
