Formerly Callianassa beta is now Callianassa eta (Rathbun, 1936, Corrections of Names of Fossil Decapod Crustaceans)

Taxonomy
Callianassa beta was named by Stenzel (1935) [Callianassa beta named as new species in Rathbun 1935 reference, however it is not stated as such in Rathbun's reference, because it was stated new in the current reference by Stenzel in 1935.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chickasawhay River, which is in an Eocene carbonate marl in the Winona Formation of Mississippi.
