Jasus flemingi
Taxonomy
Jasus flemingi was named by Glaessner (1960). Its type specimen is NZGS DC 203, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tarakohe Marl Pit, which is in an Altonian marine sandstone in the Tarakohe Mudstone Formation of New Zealand.
