Protogryllus (Protogryllus) dobbertinensis
Taxonomy
Gryllus dobbertinensis was named by Geinitz (1880). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Greifswald collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany.
It was recombined as Protogryllus dobbertinensis by Handlirsch (1906), Zeuner (1939), Jarzembowski (1996), Ansorge (1996) and Ansorge (2003); it was recombined as Protogryllus (Protogryllus) dobbertinensis by Pérez-de la Fuente et al. (2012).
