It was synonymized subjectively with Permocicada by Becker-Migdisova (1961) and van Dijk and Geertsema (1999).
It was assigned to Permocicadopsidae by Becker-Migdisova (1946); to Scytinopteridae by Evans (1956); and to Prosbolidae by Becker-Migdisova (1940), Becker-Migdisova (1952) and Shcherbakov (1984).
It was synonymized subjectively with Permocicada by Becker-Migdisova (1961) and van Dijk and Geertsema (1999).
