Taxonomy
Lichuanoceras hubeiense was named by Xu (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laolinkou, Lichuan County, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wujiaping Formation of China. It is the type species of Lichuanoceras.
