Taxonomy

Polycentropus latus was named by Pictet and Hagen (1856). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was recombined as Plectrocnemia lata by Ulmer (1912).

Synonyms

Polycentropus laevis was named by Pictet (1856).

It was synonymized subjectively with Plectrocnemia lata by Ulmer (1912).
Polycentropus guttulatus was named by Pictet and Hagen (1856). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Berendt collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.

It was synonymized subjectively with Plectrocnemia lata by Ulmer (1912).
